Why should you have a PT?

The answer is simple. To improve yourself.

Having a coach provides accountability that you may lack in your own training. A professional coach is then able to construct a suitable training programme with constant guidance around nutrition to reach the desired goal.

The importance in training is in adherence and execution; both with exercise and nutrition. With my help I will highlight what is needed to change your own programme, nutritional habits and change the way you feel about exercise.

Coaching is not about gruelling workouts and complicated unhelpful ‘diet plans’. It is a tool to be used to educate and help people change their lifestyle for the better.

People started using the word ‘coach’ in reference to a stage coach. This helped people to be able to travel from ‘a to b’. This is the crucial element with one-to-one training.

A great coach will be able to execute a specific tailored approach that is realistic and attainable. Having a great coach will help you from plateauing, as there will always be tangable progression throughout your workouts and training plan.

I’ve known Ben for many years and have had two personal plans from him during that time. He’s a ray of sunshine, when it comes to his professionalism and his motivation. Lots of deep knowledge and great practical advice that’s attainable for the average person.

Having a coach enables you to have an objective view upon your training. We all have areas we would like to work on whether its physical or mental improvements, as well as a need to work on things such as mobility, body mechanics and strength. With my knowledge and practical application over a 8 year tenure, I can teach you how to enjoy the gym, make progress and keep adherence with it. With these skills I can not only tell you realistically what to expect with each workout, but also how to optimise each session.

If you are serious about changing, I am serious about coaching.

Each individual goal maybe different, but the outcome and input should always be the same. You need to commit to something to produce something great.
